A FEW DESIGN ACCOLADES
I was nominated and won a 2023 Global Footwear Award in the RUNNING/TRAIL RUNNING category for the Charged Pursuit 2 SE.
I was asked to be a SneakerWeek PDX 2023 Design Judge. The judges panel included me, Steven Smith, Andy Croll and Kristina Gerig. I was honored to be judging along side footwear industry legends. While the contestants participated in the Design Columbine, (a Gravity Sketch task) the panel answered Q & A from the audience and the MC. We critiqued the contestants design work at each step and gave an overall score at the end.

I was featured in a Today Show article as an industry expert on what to look for in cross training shoes in February of 2023. Interviewed by Sierra Hoeger.
I gave a design presentation to University of Oregon Sports Management Graduate Class and answered Q & A with Under Armour VP of Footwear Design, Justin Howe in September 2023.
I collaborated with the Program Director of Industrial Design at Kansas State in April of 2023 to create their first Performance Footwear Design Studio. I gave the brief to the class along with a footwear sketching and presentation tutorial, answered Q & A and critiqued their final presentations.
REI and TravelOregon both used my photography for their brand instagram pages in October 2023, and again in December. It was one of REI’s most liked posts of 2023.
I was recognized by Under Armour with a PRISM AWARD for my footwear design work in Q2 of 2021.
I graduated from Iowa State in the top 10 of my class and made the ISUDean’sList from 2015-2018.
I received a High Distinction Award for my Microsoft Sponsored Design project from RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia in June of 2017.
Mississippi Valley Conference All Academic Award Women’s Track and Field 2013 & 2014.
XHS Mural 2014 - was nominated by the high school to paint a large scale mural that is still hanging in the hallway today.
